Reg. Silver Dapple Icelandic Mare $3,400 Cute, Cuddly, SILVER DAPPLE Mare-Five Gaited! Sweet, adorable, beautiful, Icelandic mare. Lots of mane and tail. A true silver dapple with deep chocolate dappled body and silver mane and tail. Proven broodmare. Was started under saddle but is going to need some work to get her going again. Owners time constraints and unrelated injury force sale. Priced as she is due to needing a tune up and more miles. To good home only. From the owner: Silfra is one of the loveliest horses that I have ever seen and I never thought Id sell her….She likes to have her head cuddled. Silfra had 60 days of professional training, and has had a little riding on gravel roads and trails since training. She has not been ridden in well over a year. During training, she was ridden regularly through traffic in a small town, past dogs and a playground, and through water. She is kept with a number of horses in a herd, and gets along with everyone. Naturally 5-gaited, out of two five-gaited parents, Silfra was born here at our place. She has had one foal, and she passed the silver dapple gene (DNA confirmed). The sire also passed his cream gene, and the outcome was a beautiful toffee-colored palomino known as a silver palomino. Silfra stands well for trims, and has had front shoes. She has been worked on the ground in the round pen and moves off pressure. She loads well in the trailer. DOB: 2004 Natural Horsemanship Training ~~~~ Reg. Andalusian/Lusitano Mare $6,500 Stunning al-around prospect with 90 days prof. training. Reluctantly for sale due to owners physical issues (not horse related). Priced low because of time/training constraints. Pictures upon request. Only one current video of Gwen in the pasture. No other videos currently available. Gwen is a stunning 4 year old SP (Andalusian/Lusitano) mare with breathtaking movement and a sweet, kind heart. She has been well started under saddle. Had 90 days of professional training last summer/fall. Gwen is showing lots of promise as an Eventing, dressage or trail mount. With her quick but quiet mind she would excel both in the arena and on trail. Gwen focuses on her trainer, and enjoys her work. She gets relaxed and focused when the saddle is brought out. She is not spooky, and her trainer commented that she is a horse who is comfortable in her own skin. She has free-jumped over 4 feet with no effort. She has been exposed to quads, tractors, sheep, cows, deer, coyotes and lives with llamas. Ridden with dogs. Gets along well with other horses. Come see this girl with her stunning, powerful movement. She is not currently in training due to weather but should not be difficult to get started again. Her price will go up when she resumes training in the spring. DOB: July 2010 All Around
